A: Your new SalePack account will be ready for you to start using within an hour of your purchase. You initially will be given a temporary domain to get you up and running straight away. www.SalePack.co.uk/YourCompany for example. Once you are happy with your new site, we will then make it live on your chosen or transferred domain.

Q: Do I need to have my own SSL (Secure Socket Layer for secure encrypted data transfers)?

A: SalePack provides you with a 128 bit SSL for your new sites encryption.

Q: How will my new site take payment online?

A: SalePack will bolt straight into your existing 3rd party online merchant provider. Examples World Pay, HSBC, Barclays EPDQ, Protx, PayPal etc. SalePack will also enable you to take Bank Transfers and Cheque payments. If you do not have a 3rd party merchant provider, once you have started your SalePack account we will guide you through the simple process of getting one setup.

Q: What if I do not have a chosen Domain yet?

A: You can start setting your new site up on the free temporary hidden domain provided with SalePack. Our team will be happy to help you choose a domain and also make suggestions should you wish.

Q: What if I have an existing site and will need to transfer my domain?

A: You can start setting your new site up on the free temporary hidden domain provided with SalePack. Once you are ready to go live we will happily put in the domain transfer request for you to point to our servers. We will then prepare all your email addresses for you so you do not lose any mail during the swap. All you have to do is ask your existing hosts to release the DNS Tags when our request comes in. The process should only take a few hours from release and your customers will simply see your old site until the transfer is complete.

Q: Who will own the domain I register?

A: You will still own your domain, we will be the Administrative contact for your domain. You are free to take your domain away should you ever wish to leave our services.

Q: Will anyone help me get started setting up my new site.

A: Definitely yes. We offer full support and training to every customer. This includes every aspect of your site. We also offer free graphic production to help you get the look and feel you really want from your site.
